Absolutely fantastic service from beginning to end. I knew from the moment I spotted a car at James Shepherd's via Autotrader, it would be my next purchase. They advertised their vehicles in a very professional, subtle manner, there's no guise to make the cars look more impressive. Once I submitted my enquiry, I received a call from Mark to book a viewing. He was friendly and engaging over the phone, I felt more confident about my appointment.

I arrived at the garage to find a brilliant space with very convenient parking facilities, Mark was already in the office awaiting our arrival which provided even more assurance and further confirmed I was on the right path. He was just as friendly in person and immediately gave me a briefing of their services, handed me the keys and allowed me to browse/inspect the car peacefully and in my own time. When I was ready to take the car out, it was already in perfect position to be driven out of the showroom and not blocked by any others.

The car felt smooth, sounded great and looked fantastic inside and out. They had valeted the car perfectly, it was very presentable and smelt great. You could also see how well maintained it was, the logbook had all service stamps from the manufacturer garage. There was no doubt at that stage I would be purchasing this car, everything was perfect for me. The price was very reasonable including the part exchange, I couldn't have been happier with both. I paid a deposit after being advised of the standard MOT & Service being carried out prior to completing the sale.

I was to collect my car in a week, whilst this didn't transpire, I was given an even better option that was more convenient for me. Mark had offered for the car to be delivered once the fix following it's MOT was complete. The car was delievered the following week by their very friendly drivers, with Mark keeping me informed and updated throughout. I've loved every minute of driving my new car, no issues whatsoever. I'm 100% very happy with my choice and was very confident in purchasing my next car from James Shepherd. I would definitely go to again in future. Thank you for your great service.

My experience at James Shepherds of Hebden Bridge has been very disappointing. The car I purchased has turned out to be in a very poor condition, with many faults.

Within just three days of the purchase date, the vehicle had to be taken for a diagnostic check, which identified three full pages of faults. This is completely unacceptable for a car that was recently sold.

I expected the vehicle to be roadworthy and properly checked before sale, but this has not been my experience. I would like this matter resolved as soon as possible. Now I have been paying for a rental car to get about
